Launchbox Hosts Startup Tech Valley

Our mission at Launchbox is to support the growth of businesses by providing high quality, hard-to-find private work spaces with wraparound amenities in an entrepreneurial community.

On May 21st, that community got even bigger when we welcomed a capacity crowd of aspiring entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, mentors, students, and service providers from across the Capital Region for a Startup Tech Valley pitch event at Launchbox!

We kicked off a rollicking evening of introductions, insights and innovations with networking in the Launchbox coworking café. The group then moved to our loading dock where local companies Training Bridge, Spark Racing, Bella Biologics, and our very own Launchbox member, Instagrid, took to the stage, which was made from pallets of course, for 8-minute pitches and audience Q&A.

Founded in Germany, Instagrid makes high-performance clean power solutions for professionals working in demanding, off-grid environments utilizing advanced portable battery systems. Instagrid opened it’s first U.S.-based operation at Launchbox in March 2024 to commercialize and localize Instagrid’s products for the domestic market. The evening wrapped up with tours of our facility and more conversations about what’s next in tech, science, and entrepreneurship. Thank you Startup Tech Valley for letting us be a part of your 2024 – 2025 season and for bringing even more out-of-the-box thinking into The Box!
